TigerSoup is made by OnSilent Pty Ltd, an Australian company. This page explains what the TigerSoup Mac app sends to us and what we do with it.
What the app sends us
- Your GitHub account: username, account ID and primary email address, when you sign in to GitHub in the app.
- Your projects: each project's name, GitHub repository, AWS region, the kind of AWS setup you picked, and the owner email you entered.
- How setup went: whether it finished, and if not, which step failed and the error message.
- Your app: the TigerSoup and macOS versions, and a random ID created when you first open the app, so we can tell your projects belong together.
What it never sends
Your AWS access keys, passwords or session tokens, your GitHub token, or any of your code. Those stay on your Mac.
Why we collect it
- To contact you about TigerSoup: important notices, updates and occasional product news. Every email lets you unsubscribe.
- To help when something goes wrong, and to fix the setup steps that fail most.
- To understand what people build with TigerSoup, so we know what to improve.
We don't sell your information or share it with advertisers.
Where it's stored
On Amazon Web Services in the United States (us-east-1). We keep it while you use TigerSoup, and delete it when you ask.
Your choices
